Normand M. Moreau, 89 of Cumberland Center, Maine passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022. Born in Central Falls, RI he was the son of the late Albert P. Moreau and Aldea (Fontaine) Moreau. He was the loving husband of the late Doris (Boisse) Moreau for 66 years.

He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Navy. His outgoing personality served him well in his professional career as a Jeweler. During his long career he managed Cerel's Jewelers, Carter Brothers Jewelers and Hannoush Jewelers.

Among his greatest qualities was his sharp mind and exceptional ability to remember people, places, and events with such detail that he often amazed the people who knew him. He always had a story to tell and he often embellished on the details. He was a devoted Catholic his whole life and enjoyed his time being an offertory usher.

Normand is survived by his children, Richard Moreau and wife Jean, of Cumberland, RI, Joanne Dionne and husband Russell of Amelia Island, FL and Laura Krause and husband Tom of Yarmouth, ME; grandchildren Jessica, Aimee, Matthew, Nicole, Jarred, Charles and Sarah; great-grandchildren Leland, Maris, Jackson, Lucas, Ryan, Orion, Francis, Callan and Braydon; sister Doris McElroy of Pawtucket, RI and numerous nieces and nephews.

In life he was predeceased by his granddaughter Leigh Ann Moreau, brothers Albert O. Moreau and Robert Moreau Sr., sisters Jeanne Gallo, Madeline Moreau and Rita Casella.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Visitation on Saturday, May 28th from 8am-9:15am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI at 10am. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
